Following are the Named Education Scholarships that are fully funded through the Utah
CCIM Chapter to honor individuals for their outstanding service to
their CCIM chapter, the commercial real estate industry, and their communities.

Vasilios Priskos Memorial Scholarship
Established – 10/07/2018 Vasilios Priskos, of Salt Lake City, Utah, was the founder of InterNet Properties in 1994. Vasilios became well known as one of the major influencers of downtown Salt Lake City – having been named by the Downtown Alliance as one of the Top 25 People Who Shaped Downtown. Vasilios was involved in multiple civic and public boards including the Salt Lake City Police Foundation, the Children’s Museum, Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce, the 2002 Olympics Committee, Westminster College Foundation, and the Board of Realtors Grievance Committee. Vasilios passed way on 2017. He is survived by his wife and 4 sons. Joseph H. Florence CCIM Scholarship
Established – 10/16/17 The Joseph H. Florence CCIM was created by the Utah CCIM Chapter in memory of Joseph Howard Florence who passed away at age 85 on August 12, 2017. His life was filled with education, work, community and church service. While supporting their young family, Joe attended night classes for 10 plus years at Weber State College where he graduated with his bachelor’s degree in 1966. He had a wealth of experience in many different fields as he worked at Utah Concrete Pipe as a salesman, Thiokol as an administrative assistant, Merrill Lynch as a stock broker, and finally as a commercial real estate broker with several different firms including his own firm, Arvesco. During his time as a broker he earned his CCIM designation. He served as the Utah Chapter President of the NAR, and as the Chair of the State Legislative Committee. Locally, he served as Chairman of the Weber State College Development Fund, which raised the money to build the Dee Events Center, President of the Weber State College Alumni Association, and a South Ogden City Councilman. Wallace Woodbury CCIM Scholarship
Established – 07/26/2016 Wallace Woodbury was born Sept. 4, 1925 in Salt Lake City. After graduating with a B.A. majoring in Mathematics and Physics from the Univ. of Utah in 1947, Mr. Woodbury earned a Juris Doctorate degree from George Washington University in Washington D.C. in 1949. In 2003, he endowed a University Professorship in his name at George Washington University Law School. Mr. Woodbury pursued a distinguished career in law and real estate for 57 years. He acted as Regional Vice President of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) for four years, President of the Utah Association of Realtors (1971), and President of the Salt Lake Board of Realtors (1966) and was named “Realtor of the Year” by the Utah Association in 1966. Mr. Woodbury earned the CCIM designation). Mr. Woodbury passed away on September 27, 2006.
