Michael P. Barr CCIM Scholarship
Established – 03/10/2009 Mike Barr of Greensboro, North Carolina, has been CEO for the North Carolina CCIM Chapter since 1999. He Is also CEO for the Greensboro Regional Realtors Association, and Association Executive for both the Carolinas Chapter of SIOR and Carolinas Chapter of the RLI. Eddie Blanton CCIM Scholarship
Established – 01/01/2012 Eddie Blanton, CCIM, of Charlotte, North Carolina, began his commercial real estate career in 1996 and was awarded the CCIM designation in 2001. He served as North Carolina CCIM Chapter President in 2010, and graduated from the Institute’s Jay W. Levine Leadership Development Academy in 2011. Cindy Chandler CCIM Scholarship
Established – 03/27/2014 Cindy Chandler of Charlotte, North Carolina, has her own consulting and training company, The Chandler Group, and has been in commercial real estate for over 30 years. She was the 2006 President of the North Carolina Association of Realtors®, and was named Realtor® of the Year by the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors® in both 2003 and 2013. Cindy has been recognized as Educator of the Year twice by the North Carolina Real Estate Educators Association and the NC Real Estate Commission, once by the South Carolina Real Estate Educators Association, and once by the National Real Estate Educators Association. Established – 03/10/2009 John Daniel, CCIM, of Sanford, North Carolina, is President of Daniel & Associates, which provides brokerage and appraisal services. He is a graduate of the Jay W. Levine Leadership Development Academy. John has served on the CCIM Institute Board of Directors for several years, and is a past President of both The CCIM Institute Foundation and the North Carolina CCIM Chapter. Robert M. Lewis CCIM Scholarship
Established – 02/26/2013 Bob Lewis, CCIM, of Burlington, North Carolina, has been involved in commercial real estate since 1992 and earned the CCIM designation in 1995. He is currently the Broker-in-Charge of NAI Piedmont Triad Commercial Properties in Burlington. Bob served as North Carolina CCIM Chapter President in 2001. Tony Rickard CCIM Scholarship
Established – 12/28/2009 Tony Rickard, CCIM, of Charlotte, North Carolina, was a commercial real estate broker for over 30 years. He was a graduate of the Jay W. Levine Leadership Development Academy, and served as President of the North Carolina CCIM Chapter in 2007. Tony passed away in 2009 at 58 years of age. Robert Carter CCIM Scholarship
Established – 10/29/2016 Robert Carter, CCIM, earned his CCIM designation in 1977. In 1980-82 he became the Charter President of the North Carolina CCIM Chapter and was responsible for securing the first CCIM courses in North Carolina. He is the owner and founder of Carter Realty – a 46-year old company. He is the recipient of many national and local awards including the North Carolina Association of Realtors Hall of Fame Award and is a member of the National Realtors Political Action Committee Hall of Fame in Washington, DC.
