Following are the Named Education Scholarships that are fully funded through the Idaho
CCIM Chapter to honor individuals for their outstanding service to
their CCIM chapter, the commercial real estate industry, and their communities.

Gary R. Hawkins CCIM Scholarship
Established – 04/16/2020 Gary R. Hawkins, CCIM, started developing small medical office buildings and neighborhood shopping centers and eventually became one of the first developers to build power centers and entertainment complexes anchored by mega-plex theaters. Since 1976, he has developed more than 200 different commercial properties in 23 states. Mr. Hawkins was a senior instructor in the CCIM Institute. For 20 years he helped develop and teach financial and market feasibility as well as shopping center development classes. He has taught seminars in cities from Miami to Anchorage. Steven H. Cannariato CCIM Scholarship
Established – 04/04/2016 Steve Cannariato, CCIM, has been selling, leasing, and developing commercial real estate since 1980. For thirty years, Cannariato has taught CCIM courses throughout the U.S. and Canada. He was the CCIM Institute’s Instructor of the Year in 1997, CI 101 Instructor of the Year in 2012, and CI 103 Instructor of the Year in 1999, 2000, and 2009. Cannariato has also served on numerous CCIM Institute course curriculum development and rewriting teams. Cannariato earned his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and his master’s degree from Boise State University.
